My name is Bree, and I'm the girly behind Bladed Beauty!

 I am a licensed cosmetologist and I've been working as a professional makeup artist since 2015, offering semi-permanent makeup since 2020.

In 2015 I started as a young artist working for MAC Cosmetics immediately after graduating high school. I went on to spend the next 6 years gaining invaluable experience learning from as many products, brands, and people as possible. However, I quickly learned that working the retail-side of this industry wasn't for me. I was disappointed to learn that working in retail put such an emphasis on selling as much product as possible, where the artistry of the craft and the ability to help people feel beautiful and seen often fell to the wayside. So as the story goes, lockdown hit in 2020 and I decided to take the leap to go out on my own, learn permanent makeup, and start my own beauty business.

Since I can remember I've always loved art, I grew up constantly drawing and painting. I have always dreamed of being an artist for a living. I started playing around with makeup as I got older and instantly fell in love! Makeup proved to be such a wonderful medium, one that was wearable and expressive, and one that allowed me to celebrate myself and others in our unique individuality.

Bladed Beauty's goal is to use my art and skill to empower and celebrate others for who they are, to help people step into their best self, and feel beautiful both inside and out.
